Remove excessive build-up of Pattern-Plus Shine or Spray Shield from Hartco Hartwood (Acrylic Impregnated) Floors that DO NOT have a permion finish. Do not use on maple floors.

Pattern Plus Shine Remover Directions:
1. Shake the Armstrong Pattern Plus Shine Remover container well, and pour some into a paint roller pan or other shallow pan.

2. Soak a clean applicator in the Pattern Plus Remover and squeeze out the excess liquid. For best results, use a lamb's wool applicator, although a flat sponge mop may be used. Spread an even amount of Pattern Plus Shine Remover over a small area of the floor (3'x3'). Do not leave puddles. Allow this to stand for one minute.

3. Buff the area with the remover applied using a slow speed commercial buffing machine and a black nylon stripper pad (equivalent to a 3M black pad.)

4. Repeat step 3 if removal is not complete.

5. Move to a new area and continue until the entire floor has been stripped.

6. Allow the floor to dry completely. Check for areas in which stripping may not have been satisfactory. These areas will appear as shiny spots on a floor that is now otherwise dull. Repeat the removal procedures (steps 1-4) on these areas as needed.

7. When all the Pattern Plus Shine or Spray Shield has been removed, allow the floor to dry. The floor should look uniformly dull. Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove loosened dirt or lint.

8. To renew color and to accent the grain, apply one or more thin coats of Hartco Spray Tone. Follow instructions on the label. Allow to dry 24 hrs. The flooring units can be walked on during this drying period if all residual excess has been removed and the floor has been hand or machine buffed.

9. Apply Pattern-Plus Shine or Spray Shield according to instructions.
