Pattern Plus Shine Directions:
Cleaning
1. Vacuum or sweep the entire floor.
2. Clean the floor well with Armstrong Hardwood and Laminate Floor Cleaner or Basic Coating Squeaky Clean and a Quality, Swivel Floor Mop.
3. Follow step by step cleaning instructions.
4. Allow the floor to thoroughly dry before applying Pattern Plus Shine.
Applying Pattern Plus Shine:
1. No more than four applications a year are recommended for normal
residential use and care. Use only as needed.
2. For easy application, wet applicator pad with water and wring it out as much as possible.
Applicators that work well with Pattern Plus Shine:
Bona Applicator Pad fits 15" Bona Mops.
Padco Applicator, threads onto a standard mop handle.

3. Apply Pattern Plus Shine on a 4' x 4' area of the floor. Spread evenly over the floor with the applicator, going with the grain of the wood when possible.
EXCEPTION:
For the first coat of Pattern Plus Shine on a new Pattern Plus 5000
Maple floor, apply directly on the cloth cover instead of on the
floor.
4. Repeat step 3 until the entire floor is coated.
5. Rinse applicator with warm sudsy water immediately after completion of the application process.
6. Apply two coats on new floors. When needed, Pattern Plus Shine can be applied to high traffic areas. Reapply to the entire floor as needed.
After 15+ coats of Pattern Plus Shine the floor may scuff excessively. This indicates a build up of Pattern Plus Shine. To strip the floor, use Pattern Plus Shine Remover and Spray Tone.
